Phlebotomy Technician

A Phlebotomy Technician also called a Phlebotomist. Phlebotomy technicians are an integral member of the health care training team. The primary function of the Phlebotomy technician is to collect blood samples from patients and also facilitate the collection and transportation of laboratory specimens, and they are often the patient’s only contact with the medical laboratory. A Phlebotomy Technician must like challenge and responsibility, communicate effectively, be accurate, and work well under pressure. This is why we offer our students a well-rounded education for phlebotomy certification in Arizona, including hands-on training as well as instruction on patient needs.
